The 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor gets an extra dose of off-road prowess and other upgrades for the new model year.

Off-roaders will enjoy the new Raptor, which allows owners to convert from a conventional wheel to a beadlock wheel. Through this conversion, drivers can ride on very low levels of tire pressure for extra grip off the beaten path. The beadlock-mounting abilities of the SVT Raptor can be enabled by unbolting the outer decorative ring, dismounting the tire, and remounting it in the lock-enabled position with the beadlock ring kit from Ford Racing.

While pickups often come with little more than a radio and A/C, the new 2013 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor will provide drivers with a number of key technology features. Ford’s Sync communications and entertainment system enables hands-free control of the truck’s audio system or a driver’s mobile device. The SVT Raptor comes with a new 4.2 inch LCD screen for MyFord Touch, and this can be upgraded to a full 8.0 inch center stack touch screen. Fuel economy and towing/off-road applications are available on this system, and the touch screen accommodates work gloves. A navigation system is also available.

Standard leather and cloth-trimmed seats adorn the interior of the F-150 SVT Raptor, as well as an adjustable driver seat and leather-wrapped steering wheel. A Luxury package provides more features for added comfort and convenience.

The F-150 SVT Raptor comes in a wide variety of bold exterior colors that match its fierce look. For 2013, look for the SVT Raptor in colors such as Race Red, Blue Flame Metallic, desert camouflage-colored Terrain, Ingot Silver Metallic, Oxford White, and Tuxedo Black Metallic.
