Weekly Spotlight : 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Car Video
The Subaru XV Crosstrek made its production debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011 before making a few global stops and finally settling into the U.S. market in 2012. This five-passenger crossover SUV sports a few minor changes in its 2014 form, but remains an all-wheel drive performing, fuel efficient machine.
Powered by a 2.0L boxer four-cylinder, the XV Crosstrek can generate 148 horsepower and 145 lb-ft of torque, with an option of mating it to a five-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. With the manual, a driver can expect 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway. These stats grow to 25 in the city and 33 on the highway with the CVT automatic transmission.
