I like the convertible the best
For a pure racer they used to want the hard top.
Why it that?
It has a more rigid frame and corners better. Less wind noise and lighter.
I can usderstand all that except lighter. I would think a cloth top is lighter.
Thats because the body without a hard roof bends of flexs to much under power so they use a lot of extra metal to stop that in the frame.
